Bio:          Joe Levickas is an artist, curator and arts professional living in Ann Arbor, MI. He was born and
raised in the suburbs of Chicago, and studied painting at University of Illinois (BFA '00) and Pratt
Institute (MFA '02) in Brooklyn. He has held several positions within arts and educational
institutions, including Exhibitions Coordinator at Cooper Union in New York and at Manchester
Craftsmen's Guild in Pittsburgh. He currently works with Arts at Michigan, creating and
implementing programs encouraging Michigan students to engage in the arts. As an artist, he has
exhibited throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Joe is also a Collaborator with Gallery Project in
Ann Arbor for 2012-2013.
